Klip.tv is a small group of dedicated artists who have been pioneered the art of video mapping. Though they're located here in Philadelphia, their skills have been sought out across the globe. Through a patented combination of projection, video, motion graphics, and physical space, Klip can take any environment and create an immersive multimedia experience.
When I was asked to help them design a new website, my immediate thought was to just get everything out of the way of this beautiful work. As a result, the website became incredibly minimal with a simple feature area up top that pulls in full HD video, and a tile system on the bottom to view projects. This navigation is present on all pages and makes for simple, intuitive way-finding.
To pay homage to the old Klip website, we decided to keep the chopped of logo at the top, only for it to reveal itself on the "about" or "contact" section expansion. Overall it's a simple two-part site that ushers you the needed content in a fast and simple manner while making sure the focus is on the work, not the site.
